One of my favorite things about seeing sweet Kate grow throughout this year has been to see the wonder in her parents' eyes as they soak in every little thing about her that adds beauty to their world.  From the moment I walked into their home for Kate's newborn session over a year ago, I felt overwhelmingly grateful to document her first year into a beautifully curated time capsule. There are a handful of my sweet clients of whom I've had the utmost privilege to watch their little families grow from the beginning. I cannot fully express the gratitude and joy that fills my heart knowing that they trust me time and time again to document life--their life. The little personalities of each of their tiny humans that I've watched unfold in front of my lens since infancy--innocent, independent, strong-willed, and joyful. Ellis was one of my very first newborns. Jennie and I laughed together as we constructed a session to document her brand new, precious life--and we learned together, as well. (; Brandon and Jennie welcomed Eli into the world last year, and he couldn't be a more compatible balance for his big sister. And undoubtedly, Ellis is a ferociously proud big sis.

What little girl doesn't love to pick flowers in the middle of gigantic fields? 

Brandon and Jennie, thank you for entrusting me with documenting your family, time and time again.

I'm not a momma yet, but the feeling I have watching my little baby clients grow just fills my heart up to the brim. I had the pleasure of meeting Lanie last year and photographing her sweet family of three. I could not be more grateful that she invited me to peek into their lives and photograph them once again this year. Pullovers, button-ups, and navy sneakers--Blake and his big brown eyes stole my heart, once again. This cutie is stealing other hearts too. His photo from last year is actually featured on this month's issue of New Orleans Kids & Family Magazine. This time of year just makes me so ooey gooey with all of the sweet family lovin'. Here's another one of my most precious families. I absolutely cannot get enough of Kenzie's personality and Luke's chubby cheeks.

Teehee, I just adore Luke's face in this one--almost as much as his perfect tweed baby trousers.

First comes love, then comes marriage, then comes the cutest little blonde baby model I ever did see. I'm so grateful to have watched each era of Amanda and Andrew's life unfold over the past few years. I met the both of them in college and have watched their relationship evolve from the first dates through the wedding, and to first baby, Miles--and what a treat it has been. This was my first time meeting Miles and my did he steal my heart with those blonde locks and warm brown eyes. I just adore every bit of Miles, Amanda, and Andrew in this session.

It took Miles a while to warm up to me, but after searching for acorns together, we were basically BFF.

I just cannot get enough of these three...and will happily welcome more little Andrews and/or Amandas in front of my camera. (:

Seriously, can we talk about this baby model? I'm not surprised one bit that he was chosen to be a Drooly Scrumptious brand rep.

Amanda and Pnut, thank you for entrusting me with documenting the evolution of your sweet little family. I cannot wait to continue to watch it grow.

Cable knit, chambray, and a happy baby--I don't think I could ask for more. This sweet family is just one of the reasons I love our little neighborhood so much. We have so many families nearby and I'm so grateful to have made so many new friends that live nearby in the past few years. Courtney, Casey, and Jax made my afternoon for this serene dusk shoot. Jax is such a calm baby and I especially love that he flirts with me every time I see him--bashful eyes and big smiles, I just love it.

Isn't Courtney a stunning momma? I just adore the sweet moments they shared in front of me.

Tromping through a field with momma--I mean, isn't that every toddler's dream?

I was pretty enamored with Courtney's long locks, so I had to sneak her away for a few shots of alone. I personally think every woman deserves a few photographs regularly to make her feel like a million bucks. (:

Words cannot accurately describe my sheer love for documenting pure emotion--from the unwavering love of a child, to the profound love of a parent--it just makes my heart all ooey gooey. When I photographed Jessica, Bryce, and their beautiful girls, I felt so much calm, comfort, and protection radiating from them onto their beautiful babies. It especially warmed my heart at the genuine adoration I could see in Bryce's eyes as he held each of his girls. And you know these next ones are my weak spot. Jessica sharing the most intimate moments with three-months-new Isla.

Low hanging moss, the softest of colors, and a most beautiful family--my little Heaven.

Avery has such a gentle temperament that it was so easy to photograph her loving on each one of her family members. I feel like this is an age that Jessica and Bryce will look back on forever and remember the unadulturated love of their sweet girl.

Isla knew exactly who was holding her the second her daddy started holding her hand. He didn't say a word. Goosebumps, anyone? Jessica and Bryce, thank you for the most beautiful opportunity to organically document the love of your little family.
