New Orleans Audubon Clubhouse Wedding - Lauren + Trey
From the moment I first spoke with Lauren, I knew we would be would be a perfect fit. She's a beautiful, intelligent, and independent girl with fabulous taste and the utmost trust in the professionals she hires. Because of her faith in the caliber of professionals for she and Trey's wedding day, the entire day fell into place ever-so-smoothly. Lauren left not a detail unturned--even the couches in her bridal suite matched the color scheme of her wedding day. As a photographer, this made my job styling her details to perfection flow with grace.
It was very evident to me that Lauren and Trey's same reputable judgement comes into play with the beautiful souls they surround themselves. An uncanny amount of love and support graced each moment of their day--from tears, to laughs, to getting jiggy with it on the dance floor. Lauren and Trey, you are so beautiful and so very loved.
Lauren and Trey opted for a first look, which provided us the most perfect spot next to the Ritz for exactly the vibe of photos I had in mind. Lauren is a classic girl, so I knew this neutral stucco building with beautiful New Orleans style French doors would make the perfect backdrop for she and Trey's first sights on one another.
One of my favorite touches of the day was the pale blue hydrangeas Lauren paired perfectly in her bouquet to match the pale blue Vineyard Vines bow ties Trey and his groomsmen were in.
If you're familiar with New Orleans Catholic weddings, you know that the churches are just utterly breathtaking. Sacred Heart Academy was among the most beautiful.
I also loved Lauren's elegant and traditional picks for her sweet flower girls.
Lauren and Trey, from the bottom of my heart, thank you for the opportunity to document your beginnings of life together.

Historic Charleston Wedding Style: Molly + Will
Recently, I had the absolute pleasure of photographing Molly & Will at the most charming downtown Charleston venue. She possessed a radiant smile and timeless style, he had eyes for no one but her--the duo bled Southern charm and honest love through and through.
Without a doubt, the entire affair reminded me of something straight out of Southern Living Magazine.
From regionally appropriate fruits to striped cumberbunds and bow ties, every last detail was resounding perfection.
Perhaps my favorite element of the day though, was the naked cake. Minimalist--my favorite.
Gathering Events truly outdid themselves with Molly and Will's details.

A Blush Summer Wedding: Shelli + Sean
As I've said before, there are defining elements for me as a photographer and observer that generally set the mood for each individual wedding day. This mood may not even be something that the participants of the day particularly pick up on as the events unfold, but instead, it's more of an experience--a feeling, if you will--that I personally take from the day. Shelli and Sean's day was two-fold in sentiments for me. Firstly in that, Shelli had the most fun group of girls, ever. Something about their attitudes and comradery as they surrounded their friend on one of the most important days of her life, paired with the mixed bag of attitudes that could have put them straight out of a bridesmaid comedy, just made the atmosphere leading up to the event a ball of fun.
Then there was Sean. His gentle persona towards everyone he aknowledged and just the way he looked at Shelli, I could see so clearly his love and desire to provide for her as his wife.
And since her girls were so spunky, they reinacted an infamous movie pose with their own spin above--adding the boys. Can you identify it?
I always like a girl...or six...unafraid to toast properly with a little Patron'.
Shelli and Sean said their vows at sunset, with warm, creamy light coming through the white panels near them. It was truly the perfect way to kick off a Louisiana Saturday night.
Shelli and Sean, thank you from the bottom of my heart for your warm, vibrant personalities and the genuine love you share. I wish you countless days of kisses and a forever celebration of lazy Sundays together.
